Sunil Kumar Jain
Mr. Sunil has an overall experience of more than 35 years in environment and pollution control. He has previously worked with Punjab State Pollution Control Board, Punjab Public Works Department and Punjab State Council for Science & Technology. He has been instrumental in developing cleaner production and cost-effective pollution control technologies. He has worked on several projects with multi-lateral and bi-lateral funding agencies like the World Bank, IFC, UNDP etc. on environmental management, pollution control (air & water), energy efficiency, waste management etc.
He has also been involved in capacity building of various stakeholders on social engineering activities and was influential in strengthening the concept of Social Engineering which ultimately led to institutional, technical, operational and financial sustainability of rural water supply schemes and promoting the concept of waste minimization and energy conservation by demonstrating better operating practices and substituting with cleaner processes.
