Dr. Naik has more than 30 years of experience in environmental engineering and is also the Managing Director of Naik Group of Companies. He is a B. Tech (Civil), M.Tech (Env. Sc. & Engg) and PhD from IIT Bombay. He was a faculty member at CESE, IIT-Bombay during the period 1984-90. He has been instrumental in the field of transforming energy and land intensive wastewater treatment and recycle plants into small footprint, energy efficient, containerized, soundless and odourless systems. Till date he has been instrumental in setting up more than 300 installations all over India and abroad. His pioneering work on the subject earned him a patent. The system, termed as “Ecobiopack” is arguably the most preferred technology in residential complexes, malls, hotels, hospitals and industries as it earns valuable LEED ratings for Green Buildings with its low energy consumption and capability to recycle water for toilet flushing, cooling towers, and green area development. Dr. Naik has an excellent track record in treatment of Hospital wastewater, having successfully installed STPs at MIMS (Calicut), Seven Hills Hospital (Mumbai—3 STPs), Alexis Hospital (Nagpur), Krishna Cardiac Hospital (Vadodara), Yashoda Hosital (Hyderabad, and Apollo Hospital (Navi Mumbai).
