
Dr. Rohit Goyal
Dr. Rohit Goyal has more than 30 years of experience in environment management, climate change, remote sensing, watershed studies and groundwater modelling. He is currently working as Professor (HAG) in Civil Engineering Department of Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. He has been instrumental in conducting various studies and research on groundwater assessment, air quality assessment, remote sensing and watershed studies with his core expertise in GIS, geospatial and ANN modeling, QSWAT model, policy and strategic roadmap development. He has been guide for Ph.D., M.Tech students for the projects, seminar and dissertations and has completed 9 Ph.D. dissertation during his career.
He is a member of State Level Expert Appraisal Committee (SEAC) for Rajasthan State (2008-2010) and has worked as consultant for UNICEF, CH2M Hill, Japan Bank for International Corporation (JBIC), multiple Pollution Control Boards (PCBs) and other national and state government departments. He has represented India at various international and national platforms via workshops and conference in different countries including USA, Austria, Germany, France, UK, etc. as technical expert, trainer and consultant.
